DELIVERY AND SHIPPING INFORMATION
ZiMart delivers from Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. till 8 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. ZiMart does not deliver on Good Friday, 25 December, or 1 January. In general, all food items are available within 2-5 days. Clothing, Homeware, Fashion Brands and Beauty items are delivered in 3 to 7 days. If your order includes both food and non-food items, you can choose to have your order delivered all together, or have your food items delivered earlier if you wish.
On delivery, you will receive our delivery note showing the items delivered, any substitute items, any non-available items, the delivery fees, Value-Added Tax and the amount debited from your payment card. You or your authorised representative will be asked to sign a duplicate copy of the delivery note to confirm receipt. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf.
While we deliver to you and collection arrangements to third party service providers, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any loss or damage caused to your consignment while in transit to you.
The sale and delivery of liquor is subject to national and regional statutory regulations. Accordingly we may not accept orders for delivery of liquor where this is prohibited. Alcohol purchases will require proof of age on delivery. Failure to supply such proof will render the sale null and void.
We only deliver to registered customers. Grocery and Alcohol can only be delivered within the borders of the republic of Zimbabwe. On delivery of the order to the specified delivery address, you will receive our delivery note showing the items delivered, any substitute items, any non-available items, the delivery fees, Value-Added Tax and the amount debited from your payment card. For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to that effect. The driver will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection.
We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances. Our liability for failing to deliver the products timeously is limited to delivery being effected at a later agreed time at no additional charge. Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available.
On delivery, we will require you or your authorised representative to sign and print your or their name on a duplicate copy of the delivery note, to confirm receipt. We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.
For a limited time, you’ll get Free Delivery on orders over a certain specified amount.
- Orders that qualify for free delivery in Zimbabwe may only be delivered using the standard delivery method. Expedited delivery e.g. “same day delivery” options do not qualify for free shipping and are subject to the rates of the carrier.
- Some seasonal promotions may offer free shipping worldwide. These orders are shipped using the standard carriers. Expedited shipping options do not qualify for free shipping and are subject to the rates of the carrier.
Some restrictions may apply based on the weight of the item being shipped. Such orders are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Customer Service if you have questions about your order.
Returns & Refunds
If you are for any reason dissatisfied with an item purchased from our website you may return it to any ZiMartstore for a full refund, replacement or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice, and items are returned in a saleable condition within 60 (sixty) days of purchase. Please note that items purchased on our Sale are subject to a separate returns policy. Should you not have an invoice, we will be happy to exchange your purchase at the current system price. Cell phones and accessories and certain other merchandise are covered by separate warranties. For hygiene reasons underwear (excluding bras) and earrings for pierced ears may not be returned or exchanged. Gift cards purchased will not be refunded. If for any reason you would like to cancel an order this may be done by visiting Your Orders on our website or by contacting our Customer Services Centre on +24 60 4209. You will only be able to cancel orders up to midnight on the day prior to the date of delivery. We reserve the right to debit your payment card for the delivery fees in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay to the full purchase price, including all costs incurred by us relating to the recovery thereof. Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies in law, we reserve the right to cancel forthwith any sale and/or your registration in the event of your breach any of these Terms.
Risk and Ownership
Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorized representative on delivery. We will retain ownership in the products until payment has been received in full.
International Ordering/Shipping Restrictions
ZiMart delivers worldwide subject to certain shipping resctrictions enlisted apply. Please be advised that ZiMart is not responsible for taxes and/or duties or any brokerage and/or delivery fees applied to international shipments. Also, we kindly request that you contact your customs office to thoroughly inquire about import regulations before placing your order, as we will not be liable for packages refused or held for delivery. The items listedbelow can not be shipped globally:
- + Any item prohibited by any applicable legislation or regulation e.g. seeds, tobacco and Cigars
- + Perishable Foodstuffs
- + Cosmetics, including perfume, cologne
- + All Liquids, regardless of container size/type
- + Alcohol in any form
- + Lithium Batteries, or Batteries in general
- + Hazardous, combustible or explosive materials e.g. matches, lighters and parts thereof
- + Paints, Poisons, Corrosives, detergents and fertilizers
- + Grocery items exceeding 2kgs.
In addition, promotional shipping offers do not apply to deliveries outside the Republic of Zimbabwe.
